WTB- 4.10 rear end (speedo conversion a plus!)
Hey all,
I'm looking for a 4.10 gear for my '91. I have a small differential fluid leak that I eventually (probably a late fall/winter project) attend to. For the moment I wipe down monthly and keep an eye on the fluid. So, I figured as long as I have to drop the entire rear end for the leak, I might as well swap/upgrade the rear end to a 4.10. I've read from the people who have made the swap and they all rave about how it is just an instant improvement. I've read Mark Haibecks articles on the 4.10 swap and I'm sold. So, does anyone have a 4.10 and speedo conversion they are looking to part with? Or, know anyone has a line on anyone else who has one? Thanks!

Agree with your thinking Bill. I had Marc do 4.10 swaps for both my '93 and '95. Marc got the speedo gears for me; did you check with him for them? I would imagine he has a source. You will definitely enjoy the new 4.10s. I understand you plan to do the swap and setup yourself but if not, Marc and Bob have done this many times and are very good at it. --Bob

Bill, talk to Corey Henderson. His gear guy installed a set of gears in a spare pumpkin for me and they are whisper quiet. He also turned it around quickly. Corey even had the unobtainable 4.30 speedo correction gears I needed.
