In the Whats going on section below the board I like the option of seeing whos on. But what the heck is a Yahoo Slurp Spider? Is it a bot?

They tracks posts and idnex items on the WWW. I had never seen them identified before so I was surprised. The web crawls with them but normally its google doing the crawl. The point is to index data in order to be sort by key words in multiple search engines.
In short its how things get found on the WWW. |

I don't believe web indexers make a habit of registering a username. Sounds like a spammer to me...
