Default Replacing Fuel Rail Assembly

I'm installing new fuel injectors on my 1990 ZR1 Corvette and want to know the best way to re-install the injectors. When I removed them, I had to remove the fuel rail first and then pull each injector and it was still one unbelievable pry. Now when installing, should I put the injectors on the fuel rail first and then into the housing or put the injectors into the housing one by one and then installing the fuel rail?

Install injectors onto rails first, place each injector ends over corresponding holes and tap them in. I use the palm of my hand to tap them in.

A little lube on the bottom injector O ring and two or three taps front to back on the rail always works.

Do not use a lubricant which contains any silicone, on fuel system gaskets and seals.
Use motor oil or Vaseline which is a mineral based substance.
