Going to look at a 94 ZR1 today with 79,000 miles. Looks nice, everything works. Hes asking $8,000, I'm curious if that seems reasonable. Also is there anything I should be concerned about? I hear engine parts are hard to come by? Thanks.

8 Grand is way cheap, like 10,000 too cheap. Look it over carefully.
The engines are very unique, but I don't believe anybody on this site has a car that is sitting for a lack of parts. |

8 grand ? I remember a few weeks ago on the corvette forum some one was looking at a Z that was 2 grand ?
To me both those prices especially of course 2 grand, are ridiculous.. I follow BAT often and I'm noticing Z's bringing in pretty good money... 2 grand and even 8 grand for a 94 are priced way way low... |

At $8k it's probably a LT1 with ZR1 badges.
Hopefully I'm wrong, but i'd bet donuts to dollars that it's not a real Z. 'Crabs |

VIN should read 1G1YZ, eighth digit should be J, and the last seven should be 580XXXX.

A 79k ZR-1 should command far more than $8,000.00. Could be a Vega with a ZR-1 emblem. If it sounds too good to be true, either: 1- don't waste your time 2- RUN! Best of luck in your search!!! ![]() Marty |

I am also in the Michigan area (Bloomfield) if you need a hand looking at the car if it is local (Detroit Metro Area).
$8,000 to me suggests a car that is significantly damaged. Even LT-1 C4s are more expensive in the marketplace than $8K. Also, "WHO' is telling you that engine parts are difficult to acquire? Do they have a ZR-1? Are they familiar with the durability of these engines? |

Two days and no update or response. Did anyone receive a private message for assistance or a reply?

$8K would be a ridiculous deal, especially for a 94/95.
