Default ZR-1 Roadster

What ever happened to Mike Beal's ZR-1 roadster?
Great car! You'd swear it came out of the factory that way!
I know he sold it a few years ago, but haven't seen him or the
car in years...

How did they stiffen the chassis? The ?windshield shake? is pretty bad with the targa removed.

With targa off my car is better with the V2V chassis stiffeners

Yes Jeff, I have found the same thing to be true once I installed them. However, don?t think its quite as good as the subsequent generations w hydro formed rails.

Of course not. But I will take any improvements I can get.

Was just looking at this today, and had a wild thought. Since my AC sucks and I typically only drive windows down, what would it take to convert a coupe into a convertible? Anybody got any clue? Would it basically be find a body shop that?s willing to work with me and find C4 vert parts and fab it together?
