What ever happened to Mike Beal's ZR-1 roadster?
Great car! You'd swear it came out of the factory that way! I know he sold it a few years ago, but haven't seen him or the car in years... http://www.corvettereport.com/home/c...adster-1a1.jpg |

How did they stiffen the chassis? The ?windshield shake? is pretty bad with the targa removed.

Of course not. But I will take any improvements I can get.

Was just looking at this today, and had a wild thought. Since my AC sucks and I typically only drive windows down, what would it take to convert a coupe into a convertible? Anybody got any clue? Would it basically be find a body shop that?s willing to work with me and find C4 vert parts and fab it together?
