I showed Red to a couple friends yesterday then No Start. No crank of the starter. I put a bi pass on the clutch switch, yet no crank. Read the stickies and had no voltage on the fat yellow wire. Read the stickies some more about dirty key pellets. Went and got my other brand new key. Viola!!! I cleaned the original key in alcohol and shot it with some air and it now works. Read the stickies gentlemen and keep it simple. Everyone go and clean your keys today.
PS my security light was on too to give me a clue.

I have found some electronic (spray) cleaner too will help, if nothing else to prevent or retard further oxidation which is/was likely the primary issue along with key contact wear.

Dielectric grease will help prevent corrosion of electrical connectors.
