Nice score. But 15 years in a barn, no way it starts and runs properly with just fresh gas. It will need a fuel system flush, fuel pumps, filter, injectors and possibly a fuel regulator. That’s if mice didn’t get to it chewing multiple wires. Looks to be in good shape cosmetically. Curious what mileage is. He can do well parting it out.

Yea, We, on this forum know all that... he will have to learn I suppose... either he is committed to getting running and goes all in or pulls it for a different car, but he will still need all the normal LT-5 stuff more than likely... I want to see him get it running. I asked the miles too... he didnt answer me either...

ZR-1's do not lend themselves well to be a "Barn-Find".
While they certainly can be brought back, it is going to take far more than a wash, gas and airing up the tires.
Hey, $3,800.00 is a great price.
He can make 2-3 times that parting it out, or he could spend two to three times that to bring it back.
I also wish him well, but his lack of response may be an indication that he has already begun finding out that all is not as simple as it may seem.
Still wish him the best!

I would part it out....Pull the motor, take off plenum do the injectors, change vacuum lines etc etc...Pick up a can of spray paint from jerrys gaskets and go to town...

Doors, seats, hood, windshield, shocks .....Sell it all...
