Default 90-93 Lateral Acceleration Sensor

Has anyone rebuilt a Bosch Lateral Acceleration Sensor. Can you provide any help, tips, photos, etc. for a new person to this since no new parts exist.

Thank you,
Joel

have you contacted Vette2vette or Mirrock to look for a used one?

How did you find out that it was bad?

Code 076 is the start and speaking with a friend that has scrapped out a lot of C4s said to start here also. If I have to pull it, I want to have a plan in place at the same time. Will check the ohms on it like the shop manual says to.

Looking for as far as where it is in the car? If that’s the case I believe once the radio bezel is removed it’s visible.

Jeff,
You are correct and you DO NOT have to pull the radio. It is just below the radio, small fingers help but not impossible. Small ratchet and 7mm socket, part is out. Put the new (to me) one in and have driven the car twice for 30 miles without the light coming back. Ran through the PV list and think I am good (time will tell) for next weekend. Anyway no more error codes on the DIC and car runs great. Too quiet but great. :-)
