Black or red bushings?

I am going to replace the bushings on the Z this winter and cannot decide between black or red bushings.

My thoughts are the black will blend in and not stand out.

The red is more visible and will clash with the yellow car.

Am considering painting the calibers red also.

Just picked up a Prothane Total set in red for a great price ($116) on a Black Friday deal. I don’t really think color matters. Now for the fun of installing it.

I was going to go with red and thought meh... too "boy racerish".... Im an old man... who am I kidding? So I went with black....

Yellow car, I went with black. Now for my black car with red highlights, the red might be perfect.

Red is fastest on a black car, red bushings actually slowdown a red car, on a yellow car its anyones guess.

As all Corvettes are Red, but unfortunately some were mistakenly covered with another color, it would be true that Red bushings would be advantagous to the black car. Lets the true color shine through. I would surmise this would also be true on the yellow, or any color other than Red, cars.
Since the Red Corvettes are indisputably the fastest, there are several variables to consider in determining their "Fastness".
A True Red Corvette with a Red interior is slightly faster than one with another color interior. This is due to the symetrical flow of color throughout the vehicle. One can actually gain approximately 0.01 MPH by covering the dash and console with a red substance, but I am not suggesting the gain is worth the trouble.
Back to the original subject of bushings.
For some reason all of our cars have a black substance underneath hiding the true color. While red bushings will let some true color shine thriugh on all but Red cars, the disruption of color symetry underneath an already Red car will more than offset the advantage gained.
Maybe we should consider removing the black underneath and let the Red shine through. In this case, the Red bushings would be the correct choice.
