Would you guys/gals be interested in a ZR-1 specific chat room where we could all chat live...if you see someone on here you want to chat with you could...what do y'all think? Let me know. I don't know if it is 100% possible but I will look into it if there is interest. Thanks!

From past experience it has not been very successful. That is not to say a no one would use it, but very few typically do.

This would be very easy to do on IRC. The only problem would be getting people to actually get online at the same time.

Typically, it dosen't seem like there are many on line at any given time. But, I guess setting a specific day & time may help get it rolling..

Well, it costs absolutely nothing to do this. I just set up a channel on IRC. You can get any IRC client software (I use mIRC), set it up and join any Efnet server, the channel name is #ZR-1. I'll leave it set up, and running, and we'll see if anyone uses it. I have a 24/7 connection so I can keep the channel online.
If you've never heard of, or never used IRC, check out these links: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Relay_Chat http://www.mirc.com/ If anyone has an alternate "meeting place", or online chat service that they prefer, just post the info. Brian |

I also belong to the C3 Vette Registry (C3VR.com) and we have a chat room available to members 24/7. Once a month there is a designated time to gather. Occasionally there is a special guest to focus the topics covered but mostly it is a free-for-all. With the C3VR folks being scattered around the globe it is a fun way to hang out in a more interactive mode than trading e-mail or posting thread replies.
