Default Used Car Dealers Reputation

I was looking to buy a 2010 ZR-1 from a Used Car Dealership in Milpitas, California called NBS Auto Showroom. The ZR-1 last 3 numbers of the VIN 204 with approx 47K miles. The Carfax came back showing 5 previous owners. Has anyone had any experience with this dealership or rep (Robert Williams) or have knowledge of this ZR-1? Clean Carfax. Just proceeding with caution. Any help appreciated, thanks.

Couldn’t afford to keep tires on it?

Saw that one on the internet a few times....Its priced around 47.000 dollars if I remember correctly...Probably the lowest priced ZR I have seen.....

Don't know when you saw the add but the other day the color of the car was grey...Months previous it was white....

Can't hurt to check it out....A clean C6 ZR-1 for mid forties seems good to me..

Keep us posted..

I’m trying to get someone in the area to take a look at it. I spoke with the salesman/manager who said that was a white wrap they had put around the the car prior to detailing. Paint code matches current color. This car reportedly is there on consignment. No record of it ever being tracked, etc.. I’ve decided to fly down tomorrow to inspect the car. On the surface it looks and appears to be legit. Keep you posted. Any additional info on the car or dealership is still appreciated or if someone in the area is willing to drive by and inspect the car, please let me know today. Thanks again for all your help. Priceless

I sent a PM. As I mentioned in my PM,if the car has had a total color change I wouldn’t even consider a purchase.

The issue of five owners in such a short time does raise some questions, although it has been eight years. A clean Carfax does not always mean nothing happened to the car. Does it have a clean title or is it possibly salvage or similar? If possible, see if you can get the VIN and check service records at a friendly Chevrolet dealership. Also Marc Haibeck has a low mileage 2010 ZR1 and he might be able to offer some insight on one. I am sure Jeff can offer some help on this. Good luck. -Bob

Thank you Bob, I’m trying to reach some past Chev dealerships that came up in the Carfax that reportedly serviced it over the years. Roy

Ok so I guess it is gray...Nice color for that car.....5 owners? Maybe I wouldn't worry so much about that since the car has some mileage on it......If it had like 10-15K miles on it I would raise an eyebrow..Meaning,that all the owners after purchasing it realized it wasn't a good car and wanted to unload it..

Seems like a good deal....Let us know....From what I'm hearing that LS-9 can outrun the new Z06..
