My red car popped a head gasket. it has 155 k so I am thinking its time to rebuild it . I have tried jeff, aaron , mark . corey and mike all are either too busy or or never returned my email. does anyone know of someone hopefully west coast to rebuild or replace the head gasket . the golf course i am at is going through hard times and i offered to work 7 days a week till nov so they can try to get back on their feet. I need to either get her fixed or sell her to someone . anyone know of a mech or shop to either fix or rebuild. HELP

To bad JVD moved by the Vette museum--I bet there has got to be someone in s cali that can do it---you could proly go north to Jeff vette and get it done by him or folks up there in the PNW group. There must be some LT-5 cert. mech's in s cali at some chevy dealership somewhere!

Jeff can probably do it. I know that economically it is a good idea to go up to 368 cubes if you are gonna need new liners or pistons or both...the price will be the same and you'll get a lil more umph!...and since you're in there have Rob port and polish the whole top end including the heads...I think that's what I would do...maybe even go LOW compression in hopes of the TT setup that's imminent from Ron and Jerry (Raptor, LLC)...

Jon, I sent you a PM. I haven't been online that much lately. Been spending more on the phone and under cars.
