Default Aluminum gas pedal mount.

I broke my gas pedal at the drag strip.

I found this site for an aftermarket petal mount.

http://www.uniquecutting.com/products

Hope this helps. I got the petal mount off but my hands are too big to grab and dismount the entire pedal.

Why buy another plastic pedal that will break? Plus it seems easier to get the mount off with a dremel than remove the entire pedal.

Installed one these last winter.
A lot more substantial than the stock plastic piece.

New pedal mount is in. Very nice piece with all the parts needed for a simple quick installation.

Picture is the foot well of the Z.

I installed one of these in the Spring. The only issue I had was that I didn't like how much play was in the assembly. The pedal would flop around too much in my opinion.
I added a couple nylon flanged bushings from ACE Hardware and it really tightened up the action of the assembly.
I am very happy with it now.
