Great video,I too think people are going to start looking at the C4s in a more positive light, just yesterday I saw a medium metallic brown 88 and followed the guy so I could see the car more. If I had the space I’d love to have another 84,got a soft spot for 84s.

I had 2 84's as my first corvettes, loved them. Then I had a 92, then 90zr1, then 16z06 and now back to the 92zr1😁. Thanks for watching and please subscribe, there are more zr1 videos to come!

1st thing I guess 'to do' - rear wheels aren't correctly orientated to the car on the carrier. Be sure you correct that when doing the tires!! If you're doing the a-molds and retaining the LTPWS I'd make sure you orientate the bands to the correct wheels.

Congrats on the 'new' ZR-1! The spit and polish you did on it made it look awesome... even in the garage.
Totally agree that the ZR-1 community needs many more excellent quality videos posted. I prefer the look of A-molds on these machines, but not crazy about the extra bling of chrome. Possibly coat those chrome factory A-molds with a silver satin metallic https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_c...&v=AFYX_5cS1go plasti-dip? Of course keep those original tires as they would be valuable to someone doing an NCRS show. Again, congrats!

Regarding the A-molds - I hate 'chrome' A-molds. Have you actually confirmed by casting information on the back-sides that they're GM's that have been chromed?
I've seen no snapshots closely enough to confirm this. A quick glance at the chromed side for the JWL in the 2d window clock-wise from the valve stem might be a considered a confirmation. If the JWL isn't visible then you for sure check the back-sides. I really like the painted saw-blades - machined finish not so much |
