Can anyone run a carfax on this Z? Its been sitting at this place for over 6 months. It seems like a great price for a lingenfelter 630 car.

No, that seems to be a little low. But, the owner is dumping he car before it losses another 10K when all the C7 ZO6 hit the market in another 4 months. |

![]() That and the fact those mods were all done by some careful driving little old lady simply to get to church on time every Sunday morning. Mods on any car have good and bad points. While they improve looks or performance, they also make many potential buyers conclude ( rightly or wrongly ) that the car had the tar beat out of it on a regular basis. Marty |

Having the tar beat of it really does not bother me as much as poorly designed, installed or thought out mods.

According to the OP, this car doesn’t just have “mods”, it’s a Lingenfelter car. Which means the original owner cared enough to spend extra bucks to have hi-po parts that were co-ordinated to raise the overall performance in a thoughtful way.
Cars like this actually retain more value than your average modified Corvette. An original Lingenfelter 415 ZR-1 is probably one of the most sought after “collectibles”. Sent from my iPhone using ZR-1 Net Registry |

Owning a Doug Rippie car, I not only understand but even agree. However, when showing modded cars to buyers, there is often reluctance, because they simply assume it was some crazed kid driving at full tilt boogie 100% of the time, and they now expect the engine internals to fall out of the bottom of the car at any moment. Also this was a kit, engine only mods, not the entire car like a "Lingenfelter" car would be. Still nice though, I would buy it. Marty |

I probably missed it, but I dont see where Lingenfelter did the work. It says it was also tuned by someoe other than Lingenfelter. Which I thought Lingenfelter did thier own tunes. Still looks like a great deal though.
