Best option for fuel pressure regulator replacement ?
Don't think there is anything wrong with mine but since I've replaced most of the fuel system components I would really prefer to change it out with a quality replacement.
A few solutions I think are : 1. Aftermarket replacement which as many know are available from some parts stores. 2. Have custom fuel rails made that accept an fittings allowing an aftermarket replacement. 3. Modify the oem rails to accept an fittings also allowing an aftermarket regulator. The goal of course is just to have a quality replacement. Something adjustable doesn't hurt as it allows optimal fuel pressure settings etc. Any thoughts ? |

Option 1: I could have sworn that rockauto had non-oem alternative but I don't see them anymore on their website.
Option 2: anything is possible but most likely very costly. Option 3: probably doable but trick is making it look attractive. |

Lingenfelter used to sell adjustable regulators for our cars. Probably discontinued but can't hurt to check. If you zoom in on the attached photo, 1501933805631.jpg you can see mine.

I always check Jerry's Gaskets site first.
