I have to admit that I am a noob with Corvetts in general and ZR-1's in particular. I just cut a deal on a Z and got it shipped in from California.
I've restored several cars over the years and I am not too bad at it. I would just like someone with Z experience to go over the car with me and help me figure out a few things. The car needs a lot of work, honestly a lot more than I was led to believe. I need a little perspective to prioritize the project, decide what I need to fix immediately and what can wait. I had planned to be driving the car a lot this late summer. I don't think that is going to happen. Dan

I am retired so my agenda is wide open, today & all weekend.
The Z is a '91 with a '92 engine. This is an out of control project car. I am overwhelmed. I could use some perspective & recommendations. Dan

Hope you didn't pay too much for it. Can get very expensive to get back to great condition even if you do all the work yourself and there is a small upside on value.

Paul Workman was just here, he tested out the systems and most everything is ok, drive line wise. I do have a laundry list of minor repairs to do, but nothing expensive.
Noises from the engine, trans & clutch asm are considered normal for these cars. What a relief! Thanks a lot Paul!

Looked like a nice car that just needed a handfull of things. Great to hear it's mostly sorted out except for some minor stuff. Welcome to the Brotherhood too!
