my headliner is sagging on zr1/any articles on fixing or replacing?anyone done a fix,or have contact info on replacement

I bought one from ecklers with the cardboard backing for i think was 100 bucks but you can by the martial and spray glue there was a guy on ebay selling them for about 50 bucks it little harder to do than the first option

I got the kit at carlise a few years ago and did it myself. I used mineral spirits and a putty knife to get rid of the old glue and then used some spray adhesive to put it back together. Not hard really, just time consuming.

I did mine this spring. Bought the fabric at JoAnn Fabrics and the adhesive at Summit Racing. JoAnn has adhesive, but Summit's is cheaper and better. The worst part is removing the old foam and fabric from the backing. A good wire brush and patience is required. I had done an old truck headliner before I tackled the Z. An easy one day job. Total spent, about $25. Good Luck

Having done this repair myself some years ago, I would suggest using a heat resistant adhesive made especially for headliners, which is available from a number of sources. It gets pretty hot inside a closed Corvette on a 100 degree day, which many of our members have experienced. Regular fabric adhesives can loosen and let the headliner sag again. Ask me how I know...--Bob

Didn't even bother,I shot the underside of the top with Black Zolotone and couldn't be happier with the look. Even if I had a perfect headliner I wouldn't put it in the car.

The best spray adhesive I've found is 3M 90.

I agree, good tip. The regular fabric adhesive available is not as effective as the aerosol headliner stuff.

I believe The ZR-1 Net Registry used to sell (custom?)
ZR-1 headliners. I would ask Mark H. or Jim V.
