ZR-1 Street/Track brake pad/rotor upgrade
Street/Track "Axxis ULT" brake pads along with a set of gray-coated and slotted rotors to fit any ZR1.
The pads are made by brake parts mfg. Centric, the Axxis ULT is a semi-metallic/ceramic/Kevlar composite pad. It's designed for a high-performance street/autocross/HPDC road course duty cycle. Centric claims the ULT pads have one of the highest coefficients of friction of any brake pad available for street use on the market. Anything higher could be considered a race-only pad. ULTs are not a full ceramic but a semi-met reinforced ceramic material offering good braking power with relatively low pedal effort. They perform well at a wide range of temperatures making them especially good for hi-po street and autoX. This is not a low dust or a long life pad but for performance, they're a very good choice. PN 109-04120, front. PN 109-04130, rear. Rotors are slightly-used ZR-1 take offs each with about 0.010-in. wear. Little or no thickness variation. Fronts are, left, 1.097-in. thick, and, right, 1.102-in. thick. GM specs.... Front, new maximum thickness: 1.110-in. Front, minimium refinished thickness: 1.059-in. Front, discard thickness: 1.039-in. Rears are both 0.782-0.783-in. thick. GM specs.... Rear, new maximum thickness: 0.795-in. Rear, minimium refinished thickness: 0.744-in. Rear, discard thickness: 0.724-in. SOLD

I've purchased items from Hib before, they are exactly as described...maybe even better.
Great seller ...buy with confidence.

Yeah, looks like nice stuff. I would have loved to have this available when I was looking last year. Someone will be happy with these parts and the price.

Re: ZR-1 Street/Track brake pad/rotor upgrade
I'm about to park the ZR1. Won't crank hot. Fixed the VATS last year. These cars look for a reason not to run. Lol. My 1990 is stock on brakes. How much better are these? Not big on buying used brakes, but I can keep stock in reserve. Stock not all that great. Taking off the intake to fix the starter solenoid as it only will crank cold. Going to paint the intake and valve covers and send the intake to extrude hone.
