I believe you can only use the gm corvette specific ltpws
and each location has its own designated color

.................................................. .

I found this hope it helps

Make sure all of tires are over 25 psi when cold.

To examine Low Tire Pressure Warning error codes.
Turn the ignition On.
With a piece of wire connect pin 5 to pin 6.
The Service LTPWS indicator bulb will flash code 12 three times then any codes three times when
all codes have been displayed code 12 will flash three times again.

Example code 12 would be flash pause flash flash, longer pause any trouble codes like 23 would be flash flash pause flash flash flash etc...

Code 23 Orange sensor right rear reporting low pressure
Code 33 Yellow sensor left rear reporting low pressure
Code 43 Green sensor left front reporting low pressure
Code 53 Blue sensor right front reporting low pressure

Code 24 Orange sensor bad
Code 34 Yellow sensor bad
Code 44 Green sensor bad
Code 54 Blue sensor bad

Code 99
Sets if the receiver control module does not receive any wheel sensor signals for three
consecutive 30 minute periods with the ignition in the On position.

To clear the codes turn the ignition Off.
Turn the ignition On
With in 10 seconds connect and disconnect pin 5 to pin 6 three times.

The diagnostic connector is located above the driver right knee.

This is an excellent opportunity to remove the rest of the sensors.

Year model? Which wheel? Broke the band or the sensor itself? I have a couple from a 90.

1991 zr1, left rear sensor. I had a tire patched from a construction staple and now my service light when on! the 1 thing I can't do myself and something goes wrong, it pisses me off so much. I don't want to get rid of them as they actually work and the light told me my pressure was low bc it was a small leak and i didnt notice it so it comes in handy. 25 yr old sensors still work, that is until i let this guy patch my tires

I got rid of mine, have 4 for a 1990 just sitting on the shelf. I'd sell them cheap.

When buying NOS wheel sensors off eBay be careful who you get them from. There's a scumbag selling these as NOS but they are in fact used. Ask me how I know.

I've never seen these at new $500 a set. As stated 26 years and they still work, not too bad for a battery.
