I have a leak on the driver side. It is coming from just above the header where a wire goes into the head. It has a tin bracket that holds a black plastic piece that the wire runs through, it's held in the head with a 5/16 bolt.
I figured it's some kind of sensor or something. What is this and how do you get it out? My apology for not knowing what it is. I know a lot about drinking if y'all have any questions about that. Thanks ![]() |

Yeah i figured it had an O-ring on it. I guess I didn't pry on it enough to get it to come out. I'll give it another try after another drink of course. JK Thanks ![]() Last edited by randy ransome; 12-06-2015 at 07:21 PM. |

Cam sensor. Changed mine several months ago. With the bracket off just rotate it left and right while pulling outward. Next time ur down this way, stop by and we`ll change it. Got 200,000 btu`s to heat ya if it`s cold. We`ll swap stories on Jerry Johnson and Mike Austin.

I'm still planning on coming down to visit one day. I've been down to my sisters place a few times over the past several months, usually just helped with their place and headed home. ![]() |

speaking of leaks... anybody ever have a leak from a head plug?? there are plugs on the underside of the heads near the firewall and I see seepage out of one of he plugs on the right head closest to the firewall. it is not a heavy leak but enought to have my cleaning 2 drops a month from my garage floor.
