no timing set ..no gears no chains no pump, no pan etc just the block, rods crank and pistons
I can strap it to a pallet, but that's as far as I want to go toward shipping. I have not had the bottom end apart to see what the problem is..all I know is that it was knocking LOUD..NOT an injector or ignition miss ..and I took it out after trying some top end changes hoping it was the valve train. I need this out of my garage this is the old thread but as described above http://www.zr1.net/forum/showthread....ighlight=heads 305 794 2402 |

turns out it was number one rod journal spun. As I think back, I believe I put a higher viscosity oil in it thinking it would give a little extra protection. Now, I'm thinking that that thicker oil took longer to drain back down and I possibly cavitated the pump..That's my best WAG. The main journals look unhurt.

It is still available and I must get this out of my garage. The block is not hurt, the journals are fine. Only the crankshaft's number one journal needs work. 305 794 24zero2
