Wtb zf-6, preferably new. I know the odds are slim but you never know.

No, I will text him tomorrow. Regardless I would like to have a spare ZF-6, especially if I upgrade to another Z.

Isn't the zr-1 zf-6 specific to for the ZR-1?

Different input shaft?

Is there a ZR-1 specific part number for the transmissions?

Yes to both questions. And the ZF on Craigslist is not the correct trans.

I thought I read somewhere that just the input shaft can be swapped? Someone here will know or you can research it. I recommend calling Bill B ZF doc or check his website.

I believe you are right Craig..

my ZF is a non-ZR one that was converted to be used in a ZR-1

Craig,

Bill B can absolutely swap a ZR-1 input shaft with the stock ZF input shaft...
