They stopped making that system years ago. I guess if you search hard enough you could find one if those are your intentions.
Did you find a ZR-1? |

Back when I was experimenting with and testing exhaust systems on my 93 in the late 90s, I had extensive discussions with the owner of Lawrence Keech. I was testing a Power Effects exhaust and I loved several things about it: The construction, the fit, the look and sound were all great, but the resonance was the worst of any system I had tested. I had an acoustics engineer wire up and test the car with the PE on it and he came back with the information that we all know now that the engine has intense resonance spikes at about 1,800 and 3,400 rpms. He even gave me the calculations and drawings of Helmholtz resonators to show how to solve this problem in the Power Effects system. (Those Helmholtz resonators are how the stock and Corsa systems solve the problem). Since I otherwise really liked Power Effects, I sent the information to the owner and talked with him about how to fix it. However, he said that a) he was just a designer and was not interested in the resonance issues, and b) he had just contracted to sell the company to someone else and therefore had no interest in changing the design. I later tried to contact the new owners but never got a response. --Bob

The system was pretty heavy if I recall. And the NPP tips and actuators do something very similar without all the weight.
