I don't know of the car on the magazine cover but I know back in the early 90s Florida State had a drug bust-confiscated ZR-1 turned high speed chaser.

That was made by G.M. in 90. they called it "nightmare". Was made for fun. It was at B.Gold in 1990 under the G.M. tent. It also was lead car for the tour that year.
it was a big deal to have a ZR-1 that first year! I thought I was a Rock Star at that show. 25 years ago......seams more like 10 years ago to me! Dean Nelson.......ZR-1 registry #15 (that was a long time ago!) |
