Hailbeck Chip Help
I sent Marc an email, but being the weekend I may not hear from him. I just installed his chip in my 90. Car starts, runs for a few seconds and then dies accompanied by the service engine light (code 22). Does this over and over and will not continue running. I triple checked all of the connections, etc. Any ideas?
Edit, guess my car has gremlins. Put factory chip back in, car ran fine, put Hailbeck back in, and then ran fine. Last edited by SteveCanyon; 05-09-2015 at 03:05 PM. |

Re: Hailbeck Chip Help
Steve, I've seen this before just like Dyno says the chip wasn't fully seated. You should be good to go now.

Re: Hailbeck Chip Help
Well, I thought it was seated, would not go down any further. No worries, second times a charm I guess.

Re: Hailbeck Chip Help
The blue and white clips on the side must snap into place. Then check the chip by turning ignition to ON, check to see that SES light flashes once.
