Default Which oil filter do you use?

There are many to choose from, so which one do you use and why?

As always, if yours is not listed post it and I will amend the poll to include it.

I use the Bosch 3401 based on an article by Marc H. in the current newsletter.

I tried the bosch had more chain rattleand oil pressure was alot less when warm. I had the same prob. with the mobil one. don't know why? but I put on a napa gold and no chain rattle and the oil pressure to 3/4 instead of 1/2. would love to find out why.

Jon that is intresting I use a Mobil1 and my Pressure is around 3/4 and I was thinking it might be a little high (but I guess not) and I don't think I have any chain rattle. I am thinking about going with a Bosch though next time I change the oil. anyone esle have an opinion on this?

I have been using Mobil 1 filters for over three years with no chain rattle. In view of Marc's article I may try the Bosch the next time I change oil.

Was using Mobile, actually purchased a case of them If anyone wants to buy them I'll sell them cheap. Pm me. The reason for the change is poor performance . I did a test took of the filter let it sit over night all the oil drained out. To confirm this I cut open the and all the was gone .
I had some cam chain rattle that I never had before. New batch of filters? I put on the Bosch filter changed the oil. No rattle, higher oil pressure . I took off the filter did the same test oil remained in the filter as it was suppose to . Did some further reasearch I found the mobile1 filter is actually made by Champion. That explains that....
Use what you will as this is only my opinion and observations I made.

I do not want to influence the poll but I must ask this question. For those of you using the Mobil 1 filter that are not having any chain rattle, why would you want to switch to Bosch?
Granted I also read the article by Marc, and while I respect his knowledge and advice, I have used a Mobil 1 without any problems. As I recall it was rated as one of the best for filtration with it's synthetic media.

Ray, just an FYI. Bosch is also made by Champion Labs.
