Guys, I love my seats, with only Juan exception, the lumbar controls. I'm a big boy, my thigh sets on that uncomfortable control pad whilist going through my theropy sessions.
Is there a modifiation to removed the controls and but a different lower seat cover? Or should i just go with sports seats of this vintage without the lumbar. OR some of the uglier... 94-96 seats? I think those were the years. Thanks! |

Big Ike, you might not like the 94-96 seats but they are by far the most comfortable. My 90 seats cut into my thighs as well and I may upgrade to newer seats in the future. Driving my 96 GS is way more comfortable that driving my Z.
my 2 cents.

I use the thigh bolsters as a measure of when I should lose weight. Sort of like a comfortable suit.

HAHA! Yeah i was thinking maybe its time to cut... I might be able to take the seats to an upolsterer and get the lumber controls removed and cover that area, that is the only part the hurts, the rest of the seat is just plain awesome.
Can 94-96 seat be made to work with my seat controls? just the movement parts. |

Tony, you forgot to mention the 90 seats have controls on both sides of the seat bottom. So it is not like you can move your butt over to get away from the controller.

They should have put bolster controls for the seat rather than the seat back.

I like the design of the 94 base.. I have 94 sport.. I want the base style with the sport lower side bolsters.
That would be my perfect design
