In your opinion, if you was selling two new a-molds and 2 new tires, would you leave them mounted or would you seperate the wheels and tires and box them seperately? I am installing my 17x11 on my fronts tomorrow so I will be selling the stock size front a molds but dont know if I should take the tires off the rims or what. what should I do?

Just my opinion,Ed,but if the tires are in excellent shape,I think I would sell them as a unit.

Depends on whether they're real a-molds. If they're repros, doesn't really matter. If they're real, break them apart. JMO
Good luck with the sale, Ed! |

I believe I'd hang on to the A-molds for either a potential sale of the car OR perhaps you might regret the move to the 4 X 11". If the color is a match on all four presently I know I'd hang on to them.
The tires if are near new with fresh/recent date codes I'd consider the sale of "tires only" but keep the A-molds if they're genuine. |

just had my tires mounted and my wheels put on my car. had to run home as a few rain drops had begun to fall. I just barely made it to my garage. car looks great. like a big shiny slot car. drives very good and can feel the extra rubber in the front. I feel it turns more exact and quicker. when you lift up the clam sheel hood it seems the tires go on forever like a fred flintstone car. there is no rubbing and there is deep dish on all four corners. I could not snap pics since the rain started once I got her in the garage. maybe if there is a break in the rain since they predict rain all weekend, i can snap some pics and post. should have done this sooner.

Camaro?? really.. who cares. When I am talking in the Corvette world, a camaro is simply a wannabe Corvette. Camaro's dont drive like Corvettes. Not too many cars can take 315/35/17 tires on all four corners with no suspension and body mods and its an antique too. My car feels like it gained a ton of power without those crappy resonators. I strongly suggest to yank those out, especially if they are flowmasters. there is tremendous drone but... when you feel the difference you wont care. If you dont want drone, go drive your Caddy or Lincoln. my 2 cents. My Town Car is always available to me when I just want peace and quiet on the road.
