New to the forum/site
Greetings all !
I have been a ZR-1 owner for almost 13 years now, having acquired 1991 #1754 from its 3rd owner. I have been reading the forums occasionally, and decided it was time to sign up and contribute. My red/red beast has been having overheating issues for nearly 3 years (which is now solved, but that will be a story for another thread!), and is back on the road again and giving its owner those old thrill rides again. I look forward to learning more and sharing some of my own discoveries. Barry |

Re: New to the forum/site
Welcome and Congrats on getting your overheating corrected.
Care to elaborate on what root cause was determined? |

Re: New to the forum/site
The root cause of the overheating was a clogged radiator. Rather than sit with it on my lap for hours, I picked up a new one for $200.

It's been there and to Breckenridge several times for Vettes on the Rockies. It still runs like a scared rabbit at 12,000 ft.

Welcome!
I think there's a rule that you have to post pictures ...

Welcome to the Brotherhood of the Beast!
Good to hear it runs well, even at 12000 feet. Colorado is my adopted State - lived in Bailey (8500 foot level) for 3 years (top of Crow Hill, actually), have friends there and yern to return: that or set up house in the Knoxville TN Smokies (we love mountains) soon as my wife retires too. Love to see some pix!! (but, not too many scenery ones...I get homesick easy!!)
