I recently had an opportunity to model the new Z06 wheel and tire package on my ZR-1. These are actual OEM Z06 wheels and tires, not aftermarket. The rears (59mm offset) are mounted with a 1/2in spacer for clearance, the fronts have a 40mm offset and stick out past the fenders a bit. Wheel finish is the factory polish. Here ya go!

looks good, I think the black centers with your black car is the way to go!

I like the design of the wheels and on a black car the polished or chrome look always is pleasing....wonder what the combo would look like in black chrome powder coat??
Okay, now this is a rookie Q. Aw, come on ya know this was coming...weed eater is here! ![]() It seems to me that the choices for 315's are getting slim, and by extension our tire choices are drying up. Sooo, if a Z owner wanted more choice would it be advisable to go to an 18" or 19" wheel on a ZR-1? What happens to the speed-O calibration, how do you correct for a larger diameter wheel?? Thanks, Tom

Locobob,
Did you ever keep those Z06 wheels on the ZR? Anyone make replicas with the correct offset for the ZR? |
