Is there a trick or a technique to re-attaching the spare tire storage tray under the car? I'm making the assumption is that the threaded portion of the bolt should tighten and loosen (mine is frozen) to stow the tire/jack. Am I missing something?
Thanks! Rich |

Lug wrench should fit it. If it's frozen, you can get to it to hit with some penetrating oil if you remove the rear license plate.

Thanks...I'm going to have to drive it home in the "stow flat tire" position with it hanging down a bit to fix it.

In my garage, not on the road, I use an air gun. It takes a lot of turns.
