Default installing master cutoff switch

HI,
Since i moved my batt to the right rear storage compartment in my ZR-1
for drag racing i'am also installing a master cutoff switch. The switch has
4 terminals two for the batt. feed and two for the alt.feed.
Checking the FSM section 8 pg 8A-30-1 it looks like i could remove the
alt. output ( s wire ) from the jump start junction block run it back to the
switch and then to the jump start junction block to complete the circuit.
Then when i turn off the master cutoff switch it will remove power from
the Batt. feed and from the alt. output. Or is there diff way to do this.
Thanks
John

Default Re: installing master cutoff switch

Well i now have some time to to work on my master switch install. checking
my wiring diagram it will not work. If car is running and switch is turned off
car will keep running. What i found out is i need to kill the feed to the inj.
switch. Found lead from the battery jump block to inj switch, by connecting
that lead to the kill switch and then back to the battery jump block the car
will stop running when the master kill switch is turned off. ( it also kills
the battery feed )
The only thing so far is that i loose all my presets when the kill switch is
turned off. Not a big deal as the switch is used for drag racing only.
So everything is looking good so far.
thanks
