We do not have any way to specifically search for the previous owner of a particular ZR-1. If you tell me the year and serial number of your ZR-1, I will look in my records to see if I have any background on the car.

I've got an old LT5 Reg membership directory here on my computer desk. If you send me the year and car number,I'll see if I can find your car & former owner.

If you REALLY want to trace your ZR-1's history, you'll have to
play detective. Go to your local Chevrolet dealership, do some sucking up and see if you can get your car's history. It will show licensing, service, accidents, and changes in ownership. With that info, you can contact previous dealers and see what you can find out. I found my LT-5 (engine) was replaced at about 25K miles. Have fun! |

lets try to stop the hostility on this forum. the originator is just asking for help in tracing information on his zr1. now its a pissing contest between two people and ending with an accusation that one guy ran off with lt5 registry money. I just joined this forum a month ago so please dont make me regret it. this is to share information about a particular car we all like and appreciate. Lets keep it on topic.. please. ed ramos #3028

I was able to inquire the "ZR1 Net Registry" owners list just a few days ago that displayed as much information as the "owner at the time" was willing to give up when they supplied it to the "Registry". It by no means is something that Clint has secured for himself in any "ill conceived" fashion. Anyone could have saved the file for their own use and I would guess be able to dispense the information "at will".
That link used to be accessible from the "Registry" to all "paid" membership but it was either lost in the "transition" or someone else has "deleted" it from the information files. I don't believe it could have been considered "proprietary" but it may have bordered on "privacy" information. If it's just not available to the "paid" membership I would think it's still available or accessible to the "management"! Will they comment? Who knows. Ed - I doubt and hope you'll have "no regrets"!!! Last edited by WVZR-1; 01-19-2014 at 06:30 AM. |
