Default Driver for datalog hardware...

edit: It's now a different problem:

It's now a 'Hardware Not Found' issue (for TunerPro 5.0).

DataMaster - Z1 says, "ALDL is working, but no PCM detected."

I did download the '90, '91 LT5 version from DataMaster website.

Help?

Shrade,

I had to download a similar uart driver for my laptop as it didn't have a usb driver for my TTS datamaster as well. Go on the web and type in the search box ft232 uart usb driver. I beieve you will find one you can use.

Are you using a serial to usb converter? I had to use the software that came with the converter to get my FJO dual wideband setup to work. I am going to try Tunerpro tomorrow, will let you know.

Thanks Tyler - yes, using a serial to USB connector. Seems to be a common problem, psoted about in 2003. Still not fixed by programmers...

"Disable CCM Handshake" ( a recognition problem ), did not fix the problem.

They have to do better than this...............

Changed COM port to port 4; CCM detected.

Still no readings displayed...

Got a connection with monitoring.

Looks like some problems somewhere here (will Copy / Paste readings shortly for feedback from TUNERS!!!).

edit:
DataMaster didn't record a DIACOM file to play back.

WTH???

Schrade,

What version of datamaster are you using and what year is your car?

Try recording a datamaster file and playback of the datamaster file instead of diacom
