The desinger possible somked crap when he designed the rear and his manager too!
From C1 till c6 we all seen covettes with round rear lights, mabye lil bit reshaped round in our belived c4zr1. Whatever performance and new 7 speed and better handling of c7 , it will not make this one succeful in market, cuz something bad in the rear made it uncompleted art!! Just my opinion... At least,, in kuwait after c7 , the c6 value got raised! ![]() Last edited by HADI-ZR1; 03-22-2013 at 06:22 AM. |

Hadi,
That is why we are all created differently in this world with our own opinions, so that is cool how you feel about it. I thought the same thing initially, but surprisingly it grew on me and I love this C7 now. I want one myself and my guess is sales will be pretty good...in the US at least.

I thought it was Camaro at first glance.
Early vette did have elongated lights, and Z later C4 is ovoid / rounded too... |

At least the rear doesn't smile at you like the Japanese cars.

I'm hoping that it grows on me. I like it better than the C5 when it was introduced.

The look of the c7 rear has also grown on me.
Still there will be some the will rip them out when the bulb goes out and put in some round ones. I was more concerned in the C5 when the rear centered gas fill tube was moved to the drivers side and the easy access hood was dropped. Then later when the C6 dropped the pop up lights.

I really missed the pop up lights until I read about the issues with the pop ups. Namely the weight of the xenon lights was an issue for the pop ups and it did a number on the areodynamics. Now I'm ok with the fixed lights. The Camaro tail lights are a whole nother issue - no excuse for that.

The engineering of this car looks amazing, breathtaking - wish I could say the same for the tail lights.
