Always a good time at JVD's. Hope we have enough food this year. I went hungry last year and almost passed out. LOL

All signed up and registered! Something nice each evening and some rides, listening to knowledgable people, seeing all these cars and the various guys who tune 'em. Should be fun!

Jim said he has a real problem with people who just arrive and don't pay and just hop in the food line. If they haven't registered ahead of time it is hard to buy enough food in advance for everyone. Hope he has a way of controlling that better this year. --Bob

When I spoke with Jim the other day he also said that for the first time, the ZR-1 Net Registry is not providing support for the event as they had in the past. I have concluded that the best way to provide support is to individually sign up and go for the food and comaraderie, which I have done. The more individual signups the more support. --Bob

so, get to the barbecue on time or early if you've registered and paid, eh? A lot of effort on his business part to do this. I've seen photos of the parking lot in years past and it's a busy place apparently.

Or: dysfunctional! LOL. I hope there is enough food since I paid but it seems to me that even though it's his business it's not fair that people show up without paying or wanting to and take advantage of his hospitality. That's just not right and I'd think not typical of the ZR-1 owners I've seen here at all.

You're telling me the Registry Board which is sitting on a pile of money won't commit any financial support to perhaps the biggest 2G ZR-1 party of the year?!

Sheesh.
