Default Carbon Fiber Dash

I am currently working on trying to get a group buy for these dash pieces just like Darryl has done.
I think if we get a group buy for what ever amount of sets that we have we should include Darryl in the discount.

Robert,

Thanks for the offer and I might be interested. My only fear is how much this might cost and depending on that I would love to consider.

Craig

Robert,

Can you check and make sure APSIS understands that later car dash, console, vents, etc... are finished with rubberized coating. These coating, unlike paint, will separate from the plastic. Are they aware that these coating must be removed prior to lamination? Otherwise all that pretty CF will start to peel off.
BTW, I am very interested also.

They are aware. C5s have simular issues as well. They treat the plastic to remove all that crap before bonding so the pieces start out as flat. However Im sure Robert will makes sure of that as well. That Deluso crap sucks, shows every scratch and is sticky and ousie as it ages. At least out here in AZ it is. Robert who met the vendor at Corvette at Carlisle told me they use a water method as well vs chemical to not destroy the parts. GC

Daryll,

I hear you and understand. You lead the way with mods for our cars. If I add up all the money I spent on my 90 ZR-1 driver, I could be driving a 63 Split Window that I dream about.....
I guess there is such a thing as over carbon too and you have some big decisions to make about the steering wheel. I'm still stuck on what gauges to get for my dual gauge pod and go back and forth daily..........

Craig

I'm interested as well, pending the final pics of Daryll's car and the cost. It is VERY easy to over CF in my opinion. There are some very cheesy looking overlay jobs out there. I suspect this will not be one of them!
