Default Snoozing for the winter.

I think I just came back from the last ride of the season. Topped off the tank, added fuel stabalizer. They'll be salting and sanding in the near future. Actually I passed a truck sanding last Friday.
I guess that means it's time to put the tracks on the Argo and dig out the sled.

Let the winter modding season begin!

I have a buddy that has a farm in Charlestown just west of you and I usually go up and do some sledding but there was no snow last year. Has there been any snow to speak of yet?

Reminds me of the "Argo" movie when Allen Arkin says "argo $uck yourself".
Pretty funny line in the movie.

I have the "Stabil" fuel stabilizer on the cabinet next to the car. Still hoping to have a nice day before putting it in. Also can use less if the tank has less fuel in it. That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.

I never put a car up for the season. If the streets are dry, I take it out and get everything up to temperature and exercise it. Even if it's just driving it a few times around our large neighboorhood. Too hard on a car to just "sit".

No snow yet fully vetted.
Scott, haven't seen Argo yet. Worth it?
BFR, too much salt around here to take the car out after it's been snowing. Plus it's a mile and a half before my car sees asphault.

Steve,
Anyone who lived through the 444day hostage crisis of the early 80s
should see it. It's one of those movies where acting is the main deal,
not special effects.
I don't want to spoil it but knew what was happening behind the scenes back then and though it would have been made public 10yrs after not 30yrs as is the case. Yes, I recommend it. If you like suspense this is your huckleberry.

I agree, drive it all year if you can, it cleans up pretty easy!

Winter means driving in the fog around here. Washed two cars today and drove to the beach.

I'm almost ready to put Mistress to sleep.....on more run to do. NYC Christmas Post Card Run we do in support of a juvenile AIDS Hospice in Queens. We make it a toys for tots deal. After that run it will be hibernation time for sure. Track temps will be too low, can't keep enough heat in the rubber, no grip! LOL

I was out two weekends ago a few days after our first snowfall.....the salt dust turned my car white! What a PIA to clean! That stuff got everywhere Joe! Does anyone know if waterless wash will work on the underside?
