Sandy Survivors...All Okay..??
Hey Mid-Atlantic Crew....check in on your condition after Sandy. All is good here in Blue Bell, PA. Friends in NJ have not been as fortunate. I feel blessed to have sustained nothing more than a bit of wind damage, and a short power outage.

Re: Sandy Survivors...All Okay..??
I live in Northern VA - Tyson's Corner area for those familar w/ this area. I live in a high rise condo, on high ground, w/ below grade parking. So, I survived Sandy with no problem. Matter of fact, I took the opportunity to put a nice coat of wax and also adjusted the passenger side window and door panel.
I hope others caught in this mess fared well. |

Re: Sandy Survivors...All Okay..??
We were lucky did not lose power like all the other storms. The stream behind my house is not visible as it is about 150 yards back in the woods. It overflowed and flooded the woods getting close but not a problem. Our house is at a higher elevation so no chance of us flooding.

We faired pretty well, had the generator gassed up and ready, but we never lost power. We didn't have any bad tree damage either, all in all, we lucked out with this storm. Hope everyone came through it OK.
