Default Experience with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus?

I am planning to put on a set of these tomorrow. Anyone have any experience with them?

They're going on in the morning and I'll have impressions by Carlisle. I am getting the 275 x 40 fronts and David Johnson suggested 335 x 35 x 17 in back.

We have these tires - Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus on my on my wife's Jaguar XJR, and they are awesome all around long-wearing tyres. I would buy them again in a heartbeat. Good in all conditions, quiet, last forever, and handle really well with good feedback.

Yes but unless you are driving your car in the snow / rain often, get the PS2 (summer tire)

I know a few with AS's, but hear only positive things about the PS2's.

David... I drive little in winter, but got a great deal on 4 AS's. Any reason not to go ahead with them? Too stiff or hard a tread?

Gordon,

Great tires. PS2 is a better performance tire, and AS is all season / decent in the summer.

totally different tread design...

Go with your gut, sounds like you want the AS. Go for it!

Not sure it was my gut, but AS's are on and seem fine. (Now, if only car will start... )
