Well I hope the eye is OK so you can use it to look for the next woman in your life.

Good luck with the eye. I went thru that 2 years ago but all is good now. I hope you have as good of results as I did. Be patient and follow the docs advice. I had to sit on my couch with my head at a 45 deg. angle for 2 weeks. Don't know how i did it but I can see so it was worth it.

By the way Happy Birthday, and sorry for the situation you are in. I really feel for you brother!
Good thing to stay friends instead of an ugly bitter separation. You don't need any more stress right now. Just take care and be patient. For 2 day's I found out what it was like to be blind in one eye. It made the recovery real easy when you know what you could be facing the rest of your life if you don't do it right. I was able to watch TV with the good eye so netflix was my best friend. Get hooked on the show 24 or something like that and time passes pretty fast. My eye took about 6 months to stabilize after the initial 2 week recovery. I had to lay off going to the gym for quite a while which was very hard for me. Driving the Z was tough for a bit as the depth perception was not very good for a while. Just kept the speed down and I was OK. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. Its a good thing to talk to someone who has been thru it. Good Luck Last edited by 4-cam; 08-18-2012 at 04:03 PM. |

Ditto ( 4 -cam ) only having 1 eye sucks . Its been 3 days and still cant see out of it ( just a blurr ) . Ditto with the gym situation , I live to hit the weights ( I like heavy squats ) and now its a no mas workout for a while. I may have to lighten up and raise the reps. once I get back. I'm supposed to be back overseas in 7-8 weeks working. No income right now either =-'s an ouch .... Thanks
