Stupid people shouln't be allowed to breed, and at least there are two bodies under the car to support the weight of the car when the jack fails.

A good friend of mine died last year when his head was crushed because his car fell on him while he was working on his brakes using the emergency car jack.
Luckily he lived long enough to push 911 on his cell phone so his wife was spared the horror of finding him under the car. Great guy, good friend, former Army Ranger, now dead because he was stupid. Anyone who wants to work on their car and doesn't have proper jack stands, please come to my garage and use my lift. I don't want to lose any more friends. Jim |

I am one who is a bit paranoid about the danger. So much so that I published a "How to" on a poor man's lift method. http://www.zr1netregistry.com/Old_Proj/old_proj14.htm It still bothers me to get under there unless I have triple redundancy.
