I agree w Leno that this puts the Volt Hybrid technology smack in the middle of the automotive map. Really very significant IMO. And some really cool benefits derived from electric drive.

I agree its even better. This is really mainstream. I love the idea of welding using your truck as the generator.

Electric rates have been rock solid for many years, and it's also a big FU to the oil companies. (Is it ok to say FU, it's not ok to say EFN.)

Here in IL they have de-reg'd the electrical providers. So I'm paying $.059/kwh

Haaaaaaaaaaaaa our business pay's $.12/kwh . Yes , good ole NY is number one in the Nation again. We stand in number 2 each and every day.

The up and coming electric concept vehicles are and will get better as time go's on. Like Jay Leno said. Great concept coming to light.

I was looking around for this link then I come back here ah you posted it It was posted some time last year.
This guy lives near me and I ran across him in my Z at several lights. He was obviously showing it off. It was in an area of town that you just don't want to "play" but I can tell you his hole shot is crazy fast.

I can envision a C8 vette with electric and doing 10sec 1/4mi but I can also see the need for a 1kw stereo in it playing V8 music in time with the speed
