Re: 1990 LPE 402ci.
Very nice car!!!
Owner says its 623hp with a 402ci and Lingenfelter offers a 415ci with 610hp? (they are not offering a 402 now but maybe they did 10 years ago) That car has big brakes, roll cage and fikse's This is a real NICE car! Love to hear more about it David |

Re: 1990 LPE 402ci.
Looks like the Windshield has been replaced with a later small opening type and work must have been done a long, long time ago, note the old style Borla!
Rear upper carpet has mystery holes probably from a different type roll bar once installed and removed. Nice looking car but 632hp surely possible but I'd have to see it for myself on a dyno to believe it (assuming rating @ FW). 17" Fiske's look good on this car but 18's would look a whole lot better, more wheel, less tire. For the right money, be a nice car for someone. Wonder who did any service work on the car, its in close proximity to Tonys Corvettes in Gaithersburg, MD? |

He should have the papers from LPE to verify the work done to the car. Including the vin # with the papers.

Re: 1990 LPE 402ci.
Mystery holes are where the targa top front storage mount would be.
It is a nice car, I would bet to say the owner is thinking 40K plus. Original owner, three of four trips to Lingenfelter he has over $120,000 dollars in that car. That is if he bought it at cost. The dealers in Chicago were getting $30,000.00 over sticker for 90's.

Re: 1990 LPE 402ci.
I would never have questioned the car until I read that it was done by LPE. I'm used to seeing most cars that have been done by LPE having the plenum machined saying Lingenfelter on it. But I guess you could request that they don't do it. But like Frank says it will have paperwork if it was done by them. I've heard nothing but good things about the 402,s.
