Default GAS TANK

I am changing my gas tank on my ZR1.

GM P/N 14048936 is the number I get from our parts CD. I think they are all the same.

Tom

just did a parts search at GM and it's NLA.

What about the bucket/baffle in the bottom of the tank? Is that found in all C4s?

The tank you get should have a rubberized lining. There were some floating around in the 90s with no lining.
Also some made where the rubber lining separates easily.

Are those the tanks that limit the capacity due to an emissions thing or something to that effect?

I thought the capacity-limited tanks were those that had a fuel filler neck that extended too low into the tank, causing premature dispenser shutoff. ??
