Default Trim piece needed

Had some Nittos mounted on my 91n Z. A day later I noticed the passenger side belt line rub rail between the door and wheel well was missing. The dealer denied doing it...so...I am looking for 4"+/- of rub rail. I suspect iy can come from any part of the rail and I can cut and modify it to fit. It is going to have a decal over it ..so..condition and color is not a problem. Would anyone be willing to sell me some?

Thanx,
Ray Holmes

The part you're talking about is a ZR-1 specific part, and is very hard to find, unfortunately. If you're planning on cutting your own piece from a larger piece of door or bumper molding, you can use any C4 91-96, rather than be forced to use a ZR-1 part.

Why would it have a decal over it?And yes, this is ZR-1 specific, you could modify a piece from a base car, this piece is about 1/2 an inch longer.

It has a decal because a put a checkerboard decal around the entire car and I will put the same decal on this 4" replacement piece.

Were you positive this was on the car when it went in for service? It only takes a few minutes to get this off.The door trim has the provisions for the studs but it would be easier to shorten the piece from a base car.

Actually, the question was for Ray Holmes in Florida. You'd like Henry Breed
though. He's a good guy and a real "car guy"!
He had a Plymouth 426 Wedge back in '65 or so and was one of the
fastest street racers in town! He's still fast, he's got an SRT
Dodge Hemi now and drives it like it's still 1965!!!
