Default F'n Love Bugs!

Twice a year, I absolutely hate living in Florida. Every 6 months these little flying bags of acid come around, obscuring windshields and destroying paint.

After I began using Zaino the bugs that didn't slide off while driving washed off with very little effort ... I was actually surprised that it helped that much but I have driven through S. Georgia & Florida during "mating" season and those bugs are just terrible ... but seriously, they washed right off. I would think any good wax or other treatment would have similar results.

The love bug's must do a good job of clogging up the front air stack.

yeah, I've heard some folks spray Pam on the front bumper this time of year, I may give it a try.

As a group, they go out with a bang, you could say.

Yah, I was considering that today. Not that I have any cooling issues, but it's probably reasonable to at least attempt to clean the stack without disassembly, after each swarming season.

I use simple green to loosen the bugs off the car when I get home - 15-20 minutes of soaking, and then a soft brush takes 'em right off. I suppose for a more pristine car, I'd be more anal, but the front bumper cover needs paint anyway

Yeah, simple green doesn't taste very good, I wouldn't want to have to get these little f-ers out of my teeth!

Pledge works wonders and smells good too. Let it sit for a minute the wipe off. It's an old Harley trick. Works wonders on fiberglass.
