Default motor size question

I just recently purchased some Italian new toy, the car originally came with a 6.0 V12 motor, but i have a sneaky feeling about something.

So, is there any way i can tell the size of the motor without yanking the heads?

6.0 VT it is, but i want to be sure it's a 6.0 and not have to yank the heads to verify. I don't want to go into too much details as to why, but i have a gut feeling somethings not adding up.

Takes me back to my wasted youth and stock car racing. Anyway, running a cylinder to BDC and filling it completely with mineral oil through the spark plug hole, and then rotating (compression stroke) to push the oil out where it is captured and transferred to a measuring cup or the like.

The only fly in the ointment is cam timing. If the intake valve is not completely closed as the piston begins its compression cycle, then fluid is going to back up into the intake runner. If that happens, you'd want to recover whatever oil was resting on top of the valve, somehow, once the piston reached TDC. (Not a problem on a SBC, cuz we could just back the rockers off of the valve.)

Just a thought.

A P&G meter is what NHRA used years ago (cough) . It wasn't easy to use nor very accurate. I won't get into why

If it were me Kurt I'd contact Lambo with all the serial numbers and track the entire car down that way.
