Bought her a round trip ticket from California to Houston. And my sisters 15 year old son wants to see his uncle Rick so they are coming together. My mother taught me to drive a stick in a "new at the time" 1988 Fierro GT. Before that she bought a 1985 red Corvette. I thought it was awesome even though she only had it a month. It started dieing at stop lights. And the dealership just couldn't seem to fix the problem. And when she found out that the dealership tried to cash her $5k post dated down payment check before the date that was just the last straw. So she took it back and traded it in on the Fierro GT. It would have been easy for me to have fixed her vette now but back then I was just a teenager that didn't know how to work on cars. I can't wait to see her permagrin when she mashes that peddle down.

Wow! My mother just wants to go out to dinner and look cool in a vette, can't say she really wants to drive it...
well, I take that back, she got mad when I left my C6 at her house for 3 weeks and my brother grabbed it only after 1 day and never brought it back... |
